Hi all, welcome to the site and welcome to my thread.
First of all, I think a brief bio is in order.
My name is Paul Regan, I'm 42 years old, I am from North West of England. I have been playing poker since around 2004 and beating microstakes cash games since 2008.
My main game for the last year or so has been $30nl Snap on 888 Poker which is their version of Zoom. I have been playing almost exclusively on 888 since September 2011 and at the last count had made ~$70k pre rakeback/bonuses on the site. Before that, I was one of the bigger winning regulars on the £50nl full ring tables on Betfair when they had their own stand alone client before they joined the ongame network.
I still play the microstakes to this day because it is where I am most comfortable, it helps me meet my modest financial needs (I play poker to supplement my income, not professionally) and I enjoy not having any stress in my life, which I think would be an inevitable part of being a small stakes - midstakes grinder.
I have been coaching/mentoring players since August 2014. I enjoy the work, I like getting to know new players and I love it when I feel I have played a part in helping a losing player become a winning player.
The model I use for pricing and delivering my coaching is as follows.
I charge a $25 monthly subscription fee.
For your $25, you will receive:
- A one hour private coaching session with me per month
- I run eight group coaching sessions per month for 3-6 players per session. With my current number of subscribers, that means you could take part in a minimum of four of these sessions per month
- Access to me through the skype messaging service between sessions to answer any quick questions you have or for line checks on hands you have been struggling on
- Access to my well moderated, friendly and super supportive Skype study group where you can share experiences, hands and arrange sweat sessions with other subscribers
I firmly believe that being part of an active community where you will get to meet and make friends with many players that share your aspirations to improve their game helps you gain a large advantage over your opponents that are trying to go it alone and have nobody to talk to/turn to when the going gets tough.
If you would like to join my subscription service, or would like a no obligation chat with me before deciding to sign up, please add me to Skype on reg11174 and I will be delighted to meet you.
I genuinely believe that for $25 per month, this offers fantastic value for money at a price that should be affordable for almost all microstakes players that are serious about the game.
Thanks for taking the time to read my thread. I hope to get to know many of you much better soon.

I had 3 sessions with Regi and been a part of his study group for some months now.
He took me from a loosing 5NL player on stars to a winning 10NL player pretty quickly just by making me think about decisions in a more reflected way. He dosen't have a "boring GTO" aproach and just teaches poker in a more practical way, which atleast for me makes it allot more fun.
His skype group is also a reward in it self, as most poker groups I've come across is full of people with big ego's etc.
Thanks to his coaching and study group I'm now a 30NL player.
If you are a loosing or BE micro player I will strongly recommend his coaching.

I first came across Paul just over a year ago, I was a losing 2NL player at the time with no idea about anything really.
He helped me getting started with all the basics and after just 3 sessions i had beaten 2NL and was moving up to 5NL, his 1to1 support outside of the group and your sessions is second to none and if your ever having trouble with anything, he will always get back to you as soon as possible.
You can tell he loves doing what he is doing and he doesnt just tell you what you want to hear after a bad session, I have had other coaches after my time with Paul and I can honestly say that none have come close to the support I got from him.
Highly reccomend him to any micro stakes players, he helped me from 2NL to 30NL within a year and still helps me to this day.

Was a losing 10nl zoom player when I contacted Reg. He recommended another site, where I doubled my roll on reg tables playing up to 50nl. I'm playing some 30nl snap now to practice playing without a hud.
The group sessions are great, as is the group. Last night some of us from all over the world, had a sweat session. Had a great laugh, which is a good break when grinding alone. I'd say that his deal is the best value out there.

I am an existing member of Regi's groups on Facebook and Skype. As a novice returning to the game after a many-year hiatus, his groups have helped me become a solid player after feeling like I had to relearn the game. The Facebook group is basically a micro stakes poker group that has a positive and upbeat vibe, without a bunch of people being rude to new learning players. You can get some really good advice there, as well as find people to connect with for sweat sessions and hand history reviews.
If you enjoy the facebook group and want to go a bit further, I think Regi's subscription service has really great value and a very reasonable price, especially for micro stakes players, and I'm currently a member. With the subscription you get access to the Current Student Skype group, which is a group chat consisting of us players currently working on our game together, getting coaching from Regi. This is actually really amazing to me, because with this group I actually made a bunch of new friends that I talk to everyday and do sweats with, go over hands with, and even chat on a personal level. That was great for me when I was sitting at home on my computer alone so often. They are my poker support group, and I have gotten tons of learning material, group feedback, and solid advice from the other students here, and the game is more fun to me with a social aspect to it.
I also really dig the group activities he puts together and leads for us. We do group sweats, group video reviews, group hand history reviews, homegames, or anything else we as a group decide would be helpful or fun to do. I feel like I'm getting a lot out of it, both with my game on the table, and away from it with the help of the friends I've made in the skype group, and Regi's sound coaching, which in my case has sometimes even transcended the poker table to become wise advice that I could apply to many other areas of my life as well.

Never had an experience in a cash games before in my life and decided to made some changes. After being looser on 2-10nl for last 6 month decide to look for help to change my game. Once found Reg my game start to change after few session and had my first wining month since started as cash player. His group is decent as well with limited spaces available so i am staying in there for a little longer )))). Reg is excellent coach and has a great personality. Never had an issue about material he is providing and the way he is slugging for the bad play ))))
