In the video about bankrollmanagment in the mini course you talk about 5 times the buy-in at the limit where you are playing as a minimum for your bankroll when you are playing one table.
In a lot of other articles and websites on the internet they are talking about 20-40 times the max buy. So I was always thinking about 25 times the buy-in as a standard. This basically looks safe and logic to me cause having 5 times a buy in isn’t too much to cover a couple of buy in loses.
So why do you recommend 5 times instead of 25 times?

Hi Raymond – I don’t recommend a 5 buy-in bankroll, mine however is modified from “old-school” style of bankroll of 20-40 buy-ins per table. Someone else asked a similar question and I answered it here:
