Hi Alton,

I am working my way through your live play lessons in Crush. I have finished the course but saved the live play lessons for last.

For your Bovada HUD are you using PT4 with Ace Bovada Card Catcher?

When you check to see what an opponent mucked with during live play how do you do that? Is that possible only if they went to showdown?

THANKS!

Chris

Hi Chris,

I use Holdem Indicator on Bovada for my HUD. I have PT4, but I think its overkill for Bovada so I only use it when I play (seldomly) on America’s Card Room.

When playing on Bovada you can see what your opponent mucked if it went to showdown by looking at the hand history link on the top-left side of the poker table.

If it doesn’t go to showdown, you can write down the hand # and then wait to download the hand history file 24 hours later, search through the hand history raw files and review the entire hand where it’ll show your opponents mucked hand.

Here are some videos I did on Holdem Indicator and PT4 on my YouTube Channel:

Let me know if you have any other questions.

Alton

Thanks! Watched the video. I have HI but your video showed me how to fully use all of its features.

Is there not a benefit to using the Bovada Card Catcher with PT4 to capture my cumulative hand history for off-table analysis?

You’re welcome! I’m sure there is a benefit to using card catcher, but I bought Holdem Indicator a long time before I purchased PT4. Holdem Indicator works just fine for me so I don’t see any need for using PT4 as a HUD. I instead use the hand converter software to import hands into PT4.
