Hello learners and Instructors

At the moment i am playing on pokerstara with playmoney

So here is my question

The action is folded to the cutoff who bets 1BB, i raise to 4BB on the button with QQ and the blinds fold.

Its heads up against the cutoff who pushes all-In and i call.

He shows AA and wins because the board doesnt hit me nor him.

Was it the wrong decision to call an All-In preflop woth a pair of Queens?

This is a very difficult question to answer without more information; however, seeing that it's play money...anything can happen because there's no real money involved (so that aspect of the game is out the window).

I wouldn't overthink play money situations; moreover, I'd recommend playing for real money if you want to play in realistic situations.

Assuming this was a real money cash game, I'd have several follow-up questions:

  • HUD Stats, Tells, Tendencies of Villain
  • Effective Stack Sizes

You need to know how your opponent plays, as well as effective stack sizes to know if calling the all-in jam is correct or incorrect.

You're welcome.

Regarding your question, that's not really a question I can answer since we all learn at different speeds. Its a personal preference. Some people like to study and play as they go, while others like to dedicate time to learning the game thoroughly before they invest money on the tables.
