I am the short stack (14 BB) in an 8-handed sin&go and the UTG+1 (32BB) raises to 2BB everyone folds to me on the BTN and I raise ALL-IN with A10s,. the blinds fold as well and the UTG+1 calls. You think that was the correct play? The reason I am asking this is because according to holdemresorses.net (free ICM calculator) I should be pushing around 26% (including A2s+) but according to ICMizer 2 I should be pushing 3.5% (TT+ and AK) and that the A10s is a -1.70% EV so I should fold it.
Just to be clear, in ICMizer 2 I just loaded the hand from clipboard. In the site however, I just entered the stack sizes of each player and it didn’t ask for my hole cards so it probably doesn’t take that into account

Did you enter all of the players stacks into the holdem resources calc? How many players where left? If this was  even close to a full table it looks too loose to jam for me. ATs is  not doing to well vs an utg+1 range but it really depends on how many players and their stack sizes and of course any specific player reads also.

I think you r right. the site that I refer to uses Nash equilibrium calculations ( I am far from expert with that staff but I think it is mostly used to decide if u push/fold in a heads-up game) so I guess it is not applicable in my case. So, i guess it’s a fold just like you suggest ( and SNG wiz , ICMizer suggest too). Anyway tnx 🙂

Yeah, I agree that this is too loose to push. Typically you don’t need to start pushing all-in unless you have 10BB or less. With 14bb, you have some post-flop maneuverability with hands. Even heads up I’d be min-opening this on the BTN if villain has more than 10bb left in his stack. I think this is most likely a fold pre.
