Hi From Steve Groovesend UK (New Member)
Totally new to poker been playing about a month or so.
First started playing on the free games you know the ones on facebook
and that piqued my interest, Then started looking about for more information
Found a Poker book in a charity shop, studied it a bit and started playing the nano tables
using the beginners tight strategy outlined in the book. Had some nice sucesses just being patient
and waiting for strong opening ranges. Made mistakes, didn't really understand the importance of position.
Anyhows stumbled across this site signed up for the free mini course crush micro poker. Liked what I saw and signed up for the full course. Which I am working my way through and I'm sure I'll watch a few times before it all sinks in.
So I am on a steep learning curve at the moment, got a hud I've got to even get working properly and master using yet, I am using the eqi software with your recommend ranges to quite good effect, and taking notes on players at the moment.
I am happy at the level I am at the moment a relatively inexpensive way to learn from my mistakes and gain experince. But as I play more and learn more I do intend to work my way up.
Enjoying the courses I'm on and learning so thank you for that
Welcome to the forum and poker!
Glad to have you here and really happy your found our poker school and my Crush Micro Stakes course. You are going about learning the game the perfect way, starting with the lowest nano stakes and strengthening your game there.
Patience and a learning attitude really is the key to success. 🙂
I definitely recommend going through videos multiple times in the course to make sure everything sinks in; lots of my students go through the entire course more than once since it covers so much material.
If you ever have any questions about the course, please don't hesitate to post questions in the course's forum and I'll be happy to answer your questions.
